Your readers want value, agency, and truth.

They gloss over jargon, check out on cliches, and scatter at the faintest whiff of AI. Modern audiences are reading for the real story, one that's loud and clear behind every word: these people get me.

That's when you fire up the Brooke signal.

I help you write how you want to write and sound how you want to sound. So that every word does its part to tell your story precisely as you mean to, regardless of who's writing or what the context is.

You've got 10 seconds to stop the scroll and make sure readers know what you want them to know and feel how you want them to feel. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Here, hold my coffee. Sounds like exactly my kind of challenge.

Don't just take it from me

Make it worth the read

My mission is to understand your mission, no matter where you're at in the process. With my weird and wonderful brain, I bring fresh insights, thoughtful questions, and carefully crafted words designed to support your unique goals.

Together, we'll build a relationship between you and your readers that's founded on trust. Trust your writing is worth their time, trust that your words -- and your brand -- mean something.

Whether it's training that transforms your team's writing from the inside out or working with you on the words directly, my approach is practical, psychological, and designed to reach real people where they're at.

Who I've worked with

I climbed from Junior Creative to Associate Creative Director at The Writer in under 5 years. Before that, I was the Lead Story Editor and Community Manager at a start-up mobile fiction app, where I helped over 2,000 writers engage audiences tap-by-tap with their stories.

White ball on green concrete

Hi. I'm Brooke, and I have a pug in my lap.

Here's what you need to know: I have two pugs, a cat, and a bird, (I love chaos). In third grade I wrote an essay with the intention to make my dad cry. It worked (sorry Dad!). I'm obsessed with language, because I believe the stories we tell and the words we choose dictate our reality.

What else? I'm a nerd. I love storytelling video games like Baldur's Gate and Mass Effect. I once wrote a pirate-themed dating sim called Pirates & Booty that did numbers on a particular fiction app.

As a neurodivergent queer person, I exist in the in-between spaces on the spectrum of thought, gender, and human experience. It's the kind of empathy I could weaponize and use to go full Will Graham (let's talk Hannibal if you don't want to talk brand voice), but in the interest of letting other FBI special agents have a chance I apply my brain to brand wordiness instead.

People want ease. People want agency. People want to understand and to be understood, often in 160 characters or less. I help make it happen.
